Tessellation Ingenuity

The only way to design a desk that could be configured in different ways was to look for mathematical ways to divide space. We wanted our furniture to be able to adapt to any office space. First used by the Sumerians about 4000 BC, tessellation was the only way to achieve our design objective. Using tessellation theory helped inspire Constella’s design team to produce products that are mathematically intended to improve workspaces.
